Novels....

Yesterday masa outing, singgah Popular @ Megamall. Mulanya my hubby yang nak beli buku, pastu bila check content buku yang dia nak tue (pasal editing gambar), dia kata semua yang ada dalam buku tue dia dah boleh buat. Dia ingat buku tue ada pasal editing yang "hardcore" la (aku pun angguk buat-buat paham apa yang dia maksudkan). At last, aku pulak yang beli English novels, menambahkan koleksi aku padahal banyak lagi yang belum habis dibaca ;oD

Since my better half nak belikan (tambahan hadiah birthday aku, mesti dia rasa bersalah sebab birthday gift dia mintak kat aku mahal, hehehe) aku pilih 3 novels:
  • Change of Heart (Jodi Picoult)
  • Remember Me? (Sophie Kinsella)
  • Can You Keep a Secret? (Sophie Kinsella)

Two novels are on sale, so ada discount la. Yang lagi satu, member discount 10% so not bad la kan....Pastu, alang-alang tengok buku nie, aku sambar buku Sophie Kinsella....Confessions of a Shophaholic....So buat masa nie, aim nak collect novels Sophie Kinsella plak. John Grisham's novels almost complete (except the latest yang baru release jer belum ada lagi)....

Well, antara favorite authors adalah John Grisham, Jane Austen, Danielle Steel, Cecelia Ahern, Imogen Edwards-Jones, Elizabeth Noble. Sophie Kinsella - baru nak baca her novel, start with Confessions of a Shophaholic. Jane Austen - I've finished reading "Pride and Prejudice". It was superb - I love it. Padahal time baca novel tue, my sis yang patut habiskan baca since her English class buat revision pasal novel tue. But finally, I was the one yang enjoy baca novel Jane Austen tue. Ada ker patut, dia kata novel "Pride and Prejudice" tue boring. If you are watching the movie or drama, lagi best....So, I have the complete set of Jane Austen's novels:
  • Sense and Sensibility
  • Pride and Prejudice
  • Mansfield Park
  • Emma
  • Northanger Abbey
  • Persuasion
  • Lady Susan

Novels yang tebal sebab compiled semua dalam satu, so tak habis baca lagi la....Okay la, tuan punya laptop nak amik balik laptop dia....Anyway, TQVM tuan punya laptop sebab belikan 3 novels (siap tulis birthday note with nama manjaku yang pelbagai - Chetok, Mas Chotek, Kechetoke')....I love you very much CHEPOK ;oD

To Do....

There are several things to do before 22nd June 2008. I'm quite busy now with the registration preparation, with everything else too. I did the medical check-up yesterday but the full results (especially some of the tests needed on my urine and blood) are not ready yet. The staff told me to contact Pusat Rawatan Islam Az-Zahrah tomorrow (Wednesday) to confirm whether the remaining results of the blood and urine tests are ready or not before I can come to collect it (must see the doctor again). Alhamdulillah, so far so good. My chest x-ray looks good, no drugs detected in my urine etc. UUM new postgraduate registration will be on the 22nd June (Sunday). Before the registration, I need to fill in several forms, prepare the original copy of all the certificates needed by them (academic transcripts etc.). I also need to obtain the financial affidavit from my sponsors and the letter of release from my organization. I really hope that I'll manage to settle these two important things ...

Happy birthday Fida & Aishah....

I really hope that Fida & Aishah will read this entry - especially dedicated to them. I do not prefer sending wishes through facebook or friendster (although I always use the medium) because sometimes it hangs in the middle of posting something etc .The internet connection in Malaysia is not so good, and sometimes facebook and friendster cramps with lots of users (I assumed la since payah nak bukak).... To Fida & Aishah - Happy Birthday Sweet - 28. May Allah Bless you always, may all your wishes will come true.
