Currently Reading....

Quite busy with my study, so I've stopped reading novels for almost a month. The most viewed books now are the academic books & articles published in too-tier journals - especially on business research methods, performance of the firms etc (the lists goes forever)....

However, I managed to read Sophie Kinsella's novel (again and again) - REMEMBER ME? on the way to UUM....Biasa la naik bas boring, nak baca academic articles kan nampak obvious sangat, hehehe....Tapi tak banyak la sempat baca, sebab fokus otak nie dah ke lain so takdak la dok pulun sangat (pekat loghat utara dah nie, my precious pun terkejut bila dengar aku cakap dalam phone - kena tune sikit)....Tapi kalau aku break jap 30 mins (nak rehatkan laptop aku nie), aku sambung la baca sikit-sikit so tak le rasa bersalah sangat kan? ;oD

Well, I think that I'm not too old for Sophie Kinsella's novels - I'm still sweet-17 maa and will be forever 17, hehehe...Jiwa mesti muda, baru nampak muda kan? At least, I have something to do in my leisure time. I always enjoy doing things I love (collecting stamps, paper crafts, cross-stitch etc). Ramai kawan-kawan yang tak memahami akan kata, bolehlah aku buat macam-macam sebab aku & hubby takde anak (diorang semua takde masalah nak beranak macam aku, siap kena tahan-tahan lagi supaya tak beranak). Kami bukan taknak anak, nak sangat-sangat tapi rezeki masih belum menyebelahi kami lagi so for the time being, we enjoy being together & do everything that we want in our life (jangan jealous key ;oD)...

Ok la, nak sambung buat kerja sikit lagi before balik umah kawan. Nie dok tumpang buat kerja kat ofis dia, dia pi mengajar....

To Do....

There are several things to do before 22nd June 2008. I'm quite busy now with the registration preparation, with everything else too. I did the medical check-up yesterday but the full results (especially some of the tests needed on my urine and blood) are not ready yet. The staff told me to contact Pusat Rawatan Islam Az-Zahrah tomorrow (Wednesday) to confirm whether the remaining results of the blood and urine tests are ready or not before I can come to collect it (must see the doctor again). Alhamdulillah, so far so good. My chest x-ray looks good, no drugs detected in my urine etc. UUM new postgraduate registration will be on the 22nd June (Sunday). Before the registration, I need to fill in several forms, prepare the original copy of all the certificates needed by them (academic transcripts etc.). I also need to obtain the financial affidavit from my sponsors and the letter of release from my organization. I really hope that I'll manage to settle these two important things ...

2016

Setelah sekian lama bersawang ....

Sisters (Danielle Steel)

I've read this novel and it was very interesting. This novel is about four sisters-Sabrina, Tammy, Annie, and Candy. They are very close to each other and they really care about their parents very much. Sabrina-the eldest, is an ambitious young lawyer, Tammy-the second, is a successful t.v. show producer, Annie-the third sister, is an American artist in Florence (she likes art very much) and Candy-the youngest, is a fashion's latest international supermodel. Although they are very busy with their career, they always make sure that they spend Fourth of July weekend together, with their parents at their parents' house. However, something happened unexpectedly and changed their life forever. Want to know more about the story in this novel? I guess it is better for you to read it. Highly recommended. Below is the summary taken from Danielle Steel's website: Four sisters, a Manhattan brownstone, and a tumultuous year of loss and courage are at the heart of Danielle Steel’...
