I watched this movie again, for the second time. And still, nangis kat part yang sama. I've read the novel first, so masa baca pun dah nangis apatah lagi tengok ceritanya. Jalan cerita novel & movie ada sikit perbezaan, so for P.S I Love You, I love both the novel & movie.

First time tengok movie nie, I went to the cinema with my best friend, Sabrina. Almost everyone watching this movie cried, especially masa part Holly called Gerry's phone number, just to hear his voice (voice mail). Sabrina told me she did the same thing when she lost her brother, the only younger bro for her. Well, banyak lagi parts yang boleh menyebabkan penonton menitiskan air mata. So, I would recommend everyone to watch this movie. I managed to make my hubby watched this movie too (mana dia layan romance movies, sebab tue masa nak tengok movie nie kat cinema dia bagi I pergi dengan Sabrina)....

Plot summary

Set in Ireland, Holly Kennedy is beautiful, smart and married to the love of her life - a passionate, funny and impetuous Irishman named Gerry. So when Gerry's life is taken by an illness, it takes the life out of Holly. The only one who can help her is the person who is no longer there. Nobody knows Holly better than Gerry, so it's a good thing he planned ahead. Before he died, Gerry wrote Holly a series of 10 letters that will guide her, not only through her grief but in rediscovering herself. The messages are Gerry's way of informing Holly life goes on. The messages include various tasks and treats Gerry has left for Holly. This is his way of letting her know he will always be there for her. Holly's mother and best friends, Sharon and Denise, begin to worry that Gerry's letters are keeping Holly tied to the past, but, in fact, each letter is pushing her further into a new future. Differences Between Novel & Film Adaptation

The most major difference between the novel and its film adaptation is that in the novel, main characters Holly and Gerry Kennedy are both Irish, while in the film, only Gerry is Irish and the two live in New York. Also in the novel, Holly has numerous siblings, but in the film she has one. In the film, Jeffrey Dean Morgan plays William, a character who does not exist in the book. However, the film remains fairly true to the novel, and all of Gerry's letters are virtually unchanged.

Hey there, I loved this movie, Gerry is such a hottie and the idea behind it is so sweet! If you ever wanted to do it for real, I found an awesome site called www.farawayfish.com, where you can store a profile all about your life, and even save emails to be sent out to your loved ones after you've passed away. Mood hilang....

Isteri Separuh Masa

Novel kedua Sury Ryana yang telah aku miliki & telah habis dibaca dalam masa hanya sehari (less than 12 hours). Nampak tak apa masalah aku skang? Aku memang gila membaca novel & amat cepat membaca novel Melayu. Cuma, untuk menjadi penulis novel tu tak le kot, takde bakat la ;-) Novel Isteri Separuh Masa baru dibeli di Popular Paradigm Mall pada 26 Mei 2012, aku start baca pukul 11.30 pagi 27 Mei 2012 (on the way fetch ayah kat airport & pi kenduri kat BBST), then continue baca masa on the way ke Hospital Selayang, masih khusyuk membaca kat Hospital Selayang & finished off bila sampai umah kat Nilai, before tido jam 10.30 malam.  Apa yang mempercepatkan pembacaan? Jalan cerita yang menarik, persembahannya yang santai tapi still ada unsur yang agak mencemaskan towards the end, gaya penulisan yang bersahaja & dekat di hati ;-) Best, sama jer rasa masa baca M.A.I.D. Kesimpulannya: sebuah novel yang harus dimiliki & dibaca pada masa lapang ;-D To...
