April 2011

Pejam celik, pejam celik, dah sampai bulan April. Time flies quickly, tanpa disedari. Banyak yang berlaku sejak akhir-akhir ini. Alhamdulillah, I've completed my thesis corrections & it is now up to the internal examiner since external examiner has approved my corrections. Doakan semoga semuanya dipermudahkan....


Last week, Balqis Humayrah was staying with us for a couple of days since her mum went to BTN. Again, alhamdulillah dia tak meragam sangat. Biasa la budak-budak buat perangai, tapi still under control. We are missing her now, umah sunyi pulak takde budak-budak. Bila la anak kami nak keluar ni???


This week, a bit sad for us at the faculty since one of our lecturer lost her son. Her son died on 6th April, 2011 at Melbourne. Takziah to Prof. Madya Dr Kalsom di atas permergian anak lelaki sulungnya yang sebaya denganku. Al-Fatihah, semoga roh allahyarham ditempatkan di kalangan orang yang beriman. Bila ajal kita sudah tiba, tidak kiralah sama ada tua atau muda, pasti kita akan dijemput kembali ke sisi-Nya. Yang bertambah sedih, hari ini adalah ulangtahun ke-2 pemergian suami Dr Kalsom dan anaknya pula dijemput pada 6 April 2011, dua hari sebelum tarikh pemergian suaminya sendiri dua tahun lepas. Pasti April bulan yang mendukacitakan buat Dr Kalsom. Semoga Dr terus tabah. Dr Kalsom akan meneruskan niatnya untuk mengerjakan umrah yang telah dijadualkan pada 11 April ini.


Aku? Juga melalui minggu yang sedikit upset. Namun, kehadiran hubby pasti menguatkan kami untuk melalui dugaan ini. Last nite, dah panjang lebar aku bercerita dengan mak mengenai apa yang terjadi. Seperti biasa jawapan mak, kita kena sabar. Benda akan jadi gaduh if dua-dua pihak teruskan peranan nak gaduh, kalau sebelah pihak jer takkan jadi. So buat masa nie, janganlah aku jumpa pompuan tu, kalau tak habislah dia aku kerjakan (susah untuk aku jadi macam nie, tahap kesabaran aku pun ada batasnya). Mungkin untuk dia, apa yang dia cakap hanya masuk telinga kanan, keluar telinga kiri. Tapi tidak buatku & suami.


Apa plan weekend? Insya-Allah esok pagi, kami akan sama-sama ke rumah Dr Kalsom untuk memberi penghormatan terakhir kepada arwah anaknya yang akan tiba esok pagi dari Melbourne. Perancangan lain masih belum ada. Pagi tadi before masuk ofis, dah sempat tunjukkan ayah & mak rumah yang kami bercadang nak beli. If memang rezeki kami, permudahkanlah segala urusan yang berkaitan. Thanks mum & dad for the opinions etc.


Sehingga bertemu lagi....

To Do....

There are several things to do before 22nd June 2008. I'm quite busy now with the registration preparation, with everything else too. I did the medical check-up yesterday but the full results (especially some of the tests needed on my urine and blood) are not ready yet. The staff told me to contact Pusat Rawatan Islam Az-Zahrah tomorrow (Wednesday) to confirm whether the remaining results of the blood and urine tests are ready or not before I can come to collect it (must see the doctor again). Alhamdulillah, so far so good. My chest x-ray looks good, no drugs detected in my urine etc. UUM new postgraduate registration will be on the 22nd June (Sunday). Before the registration, I need to fill in several forms, prepare the original copy of all the certificates needed by them (academic transcripts etc.). I also need to obtain the financial affidavit from my sponsors and the letter of release from my organization. I really hope that I'll manage to settle these two important things ...

Sisters (Danielle Steel)

I've read this novel and it was very interesting. This novel is about four sisters-Sabrina, Tammy, Annie, and Candy. They are very close to each other and they really care about their parents very much. Sabrina-the eldest, is an ambitious young lawyer, Tammy-the second, is a successful t.v. show producer, Annie-the third sister, is an American artist in Florence (she likes art very much) and Candy-the youngest, is a fashion's latest international supermodel. Although they are very busy with their career, they always make sure that they spend Fourth of July weekend together, with their parents at their parents' house.
